GRIT Boxing Program

The GRIT Boxing Program is a transformative 11-week intervention strategically designed to reconstruct social narratives by empowering youth (ages 13-18) through the convergence of boxing discipline and social-emotional learning. Rooted in cultural restoration, this program transcends traditional youth development by confronting systemic barriers through intentional skill-building and community healing.

Structured across four dynamic phases, GRIT deconstructs punitive paradigms, offering a holistic approach that cultivates resilience, self-awareness, and collective empowerment. By creating a trauma-informed space led by culturally resonant instructors, the program bridges societal divides, particularly for Latino and Black youth, transforming individual potential into community strength.
